Four high-end bikes stolen in Woodstock burglary

Michael Kloeppel is the General Manager of Cyclone Bicycle Supply, a bicycle parts and accessory distributor based in Southeast Portland.

This past weekend, someone broke into his Woodstock neighborhood home and took his “irreplaceable” fleet of bicycles.

The bikes were all unique and should stick out like a sore thumb in the hands of the thief. Please be on high alert for he following bikes:

  • Niner SIR 9 – XL-ORANGE 29″ mountain bike with Paul’s Thumbies XT Rear Der, SRAM X-Gen Front, Race Face cranks, headset, stem and carbon post. One Black and one Grey Avid Juicy 5 Brakes.
  • Colnago Super “fixie” 62cm YELLOW – Sanshin track hubs on Mavic Ma2’s. Campy Chorus headset, Super record 170mm cranks and front brake. Black Spire chainring, BB is loose.
  • Serotta Nova Special X 64cm ORANGE, Campagnolo Nouvo Record Group, Mavic GL 330’s Vittoria Corsa CX front tire, Cyclepro Rear, Campagnolo alloy Freewheel. White Turbo Saddle, Black cloth bar tape. Toe Clips and Straps
  • Schwinn Paramount 63cm Blue w White Panels. 60th anniversary frame, Campy Chours 10-spd group, Ritchey WCS bar stem post, Look carbon fork. RED Time Equipe pedals.

Here’s more on the theft from Michael,

“All these bikes are irreplaceable, and I would much rather have them back than settle with my insurance company. The thieves knew what they were looking for and were apparently targeting my bikes, as they left some other valuables behind.”

Good luck Michael. Our heart goes out to you in these dark hours.

Now let’s do our best to find these bikes. Please keep your eyes peeled!
