Far from a couple of riding buddies with a camcorder, these guys do amazing work. They do for mountain bikes what the BBC does for nature, combining stunning visuals with innovative camera techniques and an engaging soundtrack.
In their first film, “The Collective” they put a cameraman on an zip-line high in the treetops and filmed guys riding singletrack through the forest. It was stunning.
Here’s a preview and behind-the-scenes look at the film to whet your appetite. If you ride mountain bikes, or just want to escape into natural beauty on a bike for a few hours, don’t miss this event.
There will be two showings at the Clinton Street Theater (2522 SE Clinton), Friday April 21st and Saturday April 22nd at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $8.00 at Fat Tire Farm or $10.00 at the door. The filmmakers will be in attendance and according to organizers there will be “tons of free goodies” given away.Email This Post
