Stolen: Surly Pacer

Stolen 52 cm Surly Pacer

My previous frame was mangled due to a pit bull incident so I bought a frame and had this Surly Pacer built. Rode it ten miles and locked it with a steel chain and a big masterlock outside of Billy Ray’s Tavern on MLK. It was stolen within half an hour. The lock was clipped by what must have been a very large bolt cutter.

Size-52 cm

Color-black

Cane Creek headset

Specialized bar stem

Shimano 105 rear derailleur

Brand new Richie Aero front wheel (replaced due to previous accident)

well used Sun Assault rear wheel

Bar end shifters

Planet bike fenders

clipless pedals

Cheap men’s contour seat

Had front and rear light mounts and a wired cyclometer bracket.

Continental front tire and gatorskin rear tire.

A Billy Ray’s patron saw a possible suspect but all I have is a vague description and no proof but here it is anyway.

Taller white bastard with need for ready cash to support drug habit

On the lean side with dark hair and a goattee

Wearing baggy denim jacket or shirt (to conceal bolt cutter?).

I am a fool and I didn’t record the serial number.

I’ll definitely provide a reward for any information leading to retrieval.
