Stolen: Fisher Wahoo MTB

Posted by on October 30th, 2005 at 8:58 pm

My bike was stolen from the garage in my apartment building sometime after Thursday, October 20th. It is a women’s, black Gary Fisher Wahoo mountain bike with front suspension.

This is truly heartbreaking…My husband’s bike was stolen from out in front of REI in NW PDX (his is a men’s blue/purple Gary Fisher Wahoo mountain bike) a little over a month ago. I ride my bike to work, and thought it was secure since I keep it inside and locked up at all times except when riding. I absolutely cannot believe all the bike theft that goes on in this city.

If you have a bike..please consider investing in a U-lock..I’ve learned the hard way..cable locks are not as secure as you may think.

If you see a bike like this, please contact me at danielleschwab@hotmail.com.

NOTE: At BikePortland, we love your comments. We love them so much that we devote many hours every week to read them and make sure they are productive, inclusive, and supportive (heck, sometimes we even fix your typos!). That doesn't mean you can't disagree with someone. It means you must do it with tact and respect. This is our business and we do not tolerate mean commenters who add nothing of value to the discussion.

Unfortunately, we are not robots and we don't always catch everything. You can help by notifying us if you see inappropriate comments. Thanks! — Jonathan and Michael
